Listing FAQs

A Service Provider is an Individual Practitioner (‘Practitioner’) who meets the following criteria:
  1. An individual person who is trained to work with children and adolescents (may or may not work with adults additionally) with special needs and mental health problems. Special needs include learning, developmental, behavioural, hearing, visual, locomotor and other physical and neurological conditions
  2. Has a license to practice or a degree from a college/university approved by the concerned regulatory body in India. Some exceptions include foreign degrees from reputed colleges and the following 2 professions - Counsellor and Creative Arts Therapist, where criteria are slightly flexible
  3. Minimum 2 years of post-qualification work experience for licenced professionals. Non-licensed professionals should have minimum 4 years of relevant work-ex post a master’s qualification in a related discipline
At present we are listing profiles of only those practitioners who work in NCR (Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad).

However, we will be expanding to other Indian cities soon. If you are not based in NCR, you may still create your profile on the website and it will be made live as soon as we launch in your city.
Details such as: name, photo, specialisation, license details, education, employment history, appointment details, phone number, work address, email address, memberships, awards, languages spoken, areas of consulting and practice summary.

Yes, you should. Just leave the Appointments section in your profile form blank.

iRockit hopes to drive change by getting the whole practitioner community together under one roof, irrespective of whether or not you offer private appointments.

Take for example, practitioners working full-time with schools and government hospitals, and those too busy to handle extra work load. They do list with us but may keep Appointments blank.
You may still list if –
  1. You have a degree from a college/university approved by the concerned regulatory body in India
  2. You have a foreign degree from a reputed college
  3. You are a Counsellor or Creative Arts Therapist with minimum 4 years of relevant work-ex post a master’s qualification in a related discipline
If your license has recently expired, you may still list with us. However, we urge you to renew the licence as soon as possible.
No we don’t. We are simply a listing service. You may provide your appointment details including contact information and timings in your profile. The website user may contact you independently, if he wishes to.
Practitioner profiles are open to reviews. Other practitioners can write recommendations and registered users can post reviews/experiences. They may also Like your profile.

iRockit is not responsible for the reviews and recommendations published on the website.
Users can search for practitioners using search filters which allow them to find practitioners by name, specialisation, city and location. Users may apply more than one filter at a time to narrow the search.
Step 1: Register and create your account
Step 2: Complete your profile form. Though only a few fields are mandatory, it is strongly advised that you fill the form in full as it assures better viewership
Step 3: Upload profile photo and verification documents (copy of licence and latest education degree)

Be sure to press the Submit button on completion, else it will not reach us for review. Once you submit the details, we will do a verification check and approve your profile to go live within 2-3 working days if the details are in order.
Yes, it can. A practitioner can edit his profile by logging into his account and clicking Edit Profile in his dashboard.
You can write to citing your request for de-activation. On de-activation your profile will no longer be available for public view. However, you past activity as a practitioner e.g. comments, recommendations etc. will continue to show in relevant sections of the website.
